About
Welcoming Light
A few like-minded people gathered together in a small building to hear, study and understand God’s Word through expository teaching (verse-by-verse). We added worship, prayer and discussion time to our Sunday meetings, and God has blessed us to start a church for His glory. As believers, who seek to grow closer to Jesus, we know the benefits of community, the accountability that comes from lives intertwined by the cords of commitment and love.
Join us each Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am at G&G Bakery for an uplifting worship experience. We begin with contemporary Christian music, setting a vibrant atmosphere for the morning. Pastor Tony then guides us through expository teaching, diving deep into the Bible verse by verse. After the sermon, we gather around to share our insights, questions, and application for today, making it a rich and engaging discussion.
Join us each Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for a Bible Study and Fellowship! We enjoy a potluck dinner, breaking bread together in fellowship with one another. After sharing a good meal, we'll dive into a meaningful Bible study and take time to share our prayer requests. The bible study is located at G &G Bakery. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our Leadership Team
Pastor Tony & Ellyn Novak

Pastor Tony is our Lead Pastor at Welcoming Light Church. He has been an associate pastor of two churches in Florida. Pastor Tony Novak came to Jesus in 1996. He immediately got involved participating in missions and eventually leading teams nationally and internationally (including work with Samaritan's Purse). He has also participated in missions in Central and South America, Europe, Japan, Russia and Africa.
Along with his wife, Ellyn, he developed and implemented a missionary care ministry to encourage small groups to "adopt" missionaries to pray for and support them.
Pastor Tony has experience with men's counseling and, along with Ellyn, pre-marriage and marriage counseling for couples.
Some other experience Pastor Tony has had is visiting hospitals, nursing homes and shut-ins. While living in Florida, he was a member of the church safety and security team and part of a prison ministry. In Erie, Pennsylvania, Tony and Ellyn planted a church.
Pastor Tony considers it a privilege to serve the church and surrounding community, pointing others to the hope found in Jesus.
